Set in a mining camp in Gold Rush era California, Paint Your Wagon is the story of Ben Rumson, a grizzled prospector, whose daughter Jennifer discovers gold in their mining camp. When word of the strike spreads, the camp’s population grows enormously and the new town of Rumson is formed. But, when the gold runs out, the town is deserted as quickly as it filled up and Ben is left with nothing but his hopes and dreams.
