Downieville  School and the Sierra County Arts Council present: 

Downieville School’s Holiday Show & Baked Goods Auction

at the Yuba Theatre in Downieville on
Saturday Decemeber 7, 2013   5:oo PM

After the festivities of Downieville’s Holiday on Main Street, Downieville School’s students will perform on the stage of the Yuba Theatre.  Their performance will be followed by the annual Baked Goods Auction with local celebrity auctioneer Frank Lang.  All  proceeds from auction go directly to the Artists in the Schools Program.

  • Californians will once again have the opportunity to support the California Arts Council and its arts programs for children through their state individual tax refund. Sept. 2013, Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. signed Senate Bill 571 (Senator Carol Liu, La Canada Flintridge), returning the arts to the voluntary contribution portion of California tax return forms through the new "Keep Arts in Schools Fund." Donations are tax deductible and support Arts Council programs throughout the state.
