The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree At The Yuba Theatre May 17-18, 2013

The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree

Downieville Jr. & High School presents the musical The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree at the Yuba Theatre Friday, May 17, 2013 and Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.

Book by Martin A. Follose, music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur. Produced by special arrangement with PIONEER DRAMA SERVICE, INC., Englewood, CO.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for students and seniors, and will be available in April from Downieville High School drama students and at the door.

When his crew jumps ship upon sighting the pirates in the distance, Captain Jennings is left with a makeshift crew of motley prisoners to protect his wealthy passengers, the Prescots, from the inevitable attack. As the lady pirates take over the defenseless Kayla May, you’re in for a swashbuckling musical comedy with a host of hysterical characters on deck and a spectacular Bill Francoeur score.
